FBOH Another WIP Version

This WIP is more like the actual character hero from Full Body of Horror.
Tougher, meaner, monster-killer.

FBOH Launch Postcard Graphic Improved

I knew I couldn't leave it alone. It took just a couple of seconds to realize that the extra octopus tentacle, the witch's broom and her drawing board were getting in the way of the axe head and that the robot's chest piece should darken up to let the axe handle stand out more. Plus, I tweaked all the colors up for more contrast and saturation and I think it puts the focus on our hero's face, the way it should be. We'll see in the morning, which iteration wins out with fresh eyes on it.

FBOH Launch Postcard WIP1

Okay, I'm trying to get many pieces of art done this weekend. I'm working on a sample page for a gig, page layouts to go over with Dave Dorman, the big painting for Full Body of Horror, and a piece of art for the FBOH launch party postcard on May 28th at Lucky Number Grill. All of them need to be done, RIGHT NOW. Here's a WIP (Work In Progress for those of you playing at home) from the postcard art. the rest of the pieces you can't see, which sucks, but at least I can show you the progress of the postcard. For those of you who have seen my process before, you will know that this WIP will go through many changes before its finished.

Monster Burger T-shirt

This is a t-shirt design I did for the Old Neighborhood Grill restaurant, which is where I eat a lot (its right across the street from my studio) and where they are having an outrageous promotion. Namely, if you can eat this Monster Burger its free. If you can't eat it in half an hour, you pay $49.99. Its six burger patties, 12 slices of cheese, 12 pieces of bacon, gyros slices between each patty, a bun and lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles.
